Congratulations are in order for Shamir Dhanpath, an automobile technology student from Esayidi TVET College, as he is set to represent South Africa in Lyon, France.
He leaves this Friday (7th) with the WorldSkills South Africa (WSZA) team, who will take part in various categories at the competition. They will be accompanied by their national coaching team and will be in France for 11 days.
Excelling in automobile technology at such a high level is a significant accomplishment, and it showcases the hard work and dedication of both the student, Esayidi TVET College, and the WSZA team.
Best of luck to him in the competition! Dhanpath is currently undergoing apprenticeships in automobile technology through the National Skills Fund (NSF) and has achieved impressive success in the prestigious national WSZA competition. His exceptional performance has not only highlighted the talent fostered within Esayidi TVET College but also underscored the impact of NSF’s investment in developing skilled professionals for the future.
